Why go: Living sphagnum domes (Ispani-1 & 2) with boardwalks & seasonal bog-ski — a unique Colchic wetland habitat.
Look out for: Winter waterfowl; herons, rails, snipes; Marsh Harrier, Citrine Wagtail, Red-backed Shrike, Whinchat.
Best conditions: Winter for dense waterfowl; migration seasons can also be productive.
Time needed: 2–4 hours (or ½ day if you do both areas).
Tactics: Stay on boardwalks; living moss is fragile and protected.
